It&#8217;s fixed at the moment but it encapsulates (little endian) 0x0018, 0x0001, 0x81, 0x9e, 0x5, beep\\0, 0x0006, Beep!\\0. All this info has been derived from the LEGO\u00ae Communications Developer Kit docs.<\/p>\n<p>To test this I had a simple program, as below, running on the brick:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/r.jander.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2016-08-16-at-22.16.40.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-27 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/r.jander.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2016-08-16-at-22.16.40-300x92.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-08-16 at 22.16.40\" width=\"300\" height=\"92\" srcset=\"https:\/\/r.jander.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2016-08-16-at-22.16.40-300x92.png 300w, https:\/\/r.jander.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2016-08-16-at-22.16.40-768x236.png 768w, https:\/\/r.jander.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2016-08-16-at-22.16.40.png 957w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Press the button on the app, and the EV3 beeps &#8211; superb!<\/p>\n<p>It also shows an interesting behaviour which I may well exploit in an upcoming model &#8211; I had one program running on the EV3, solely to beep, but was still able to drive the bot from my phone.
